Called to Pastor after his father Pastor, Larry Gilliam's death. He took pastorship in 2005 at Apostolic Lighthouse Church in Bridgeport, AL, where he continued to hold leadership until 2012 when God spoke to him to move to Guntersville, AL and start a new work. Pastor Greg stepped out on faith with little money and opened a small store front building. During this time, God provided the finances, he purchased a piece of ground, and began to build. By 2016 the new church was ready to be moved into, paid in full. With only little to be completed.
God has done some amazing things at HOS, and through Pastor Greg's leadership. Many have been restored, set free of drugs, healed of diseases, but most importantly, many have come to Christ Jesus.
Pastor Greg and Sis Dena were married in 1990, they have two boys and six grandchildren. With struggles of life, they separated and divorced back in 2010. But through lots of prayer and the faith of Jesus, God healed and restored. They are remarried today working together for Jesus. God is a restorer
We will be Posting more about Joey and Annie soon! Please stop back by at a later time.
We are very thankful and blessed to have Brother Kerry and his wife, Sister Angie Buck to be apart of our Leadership team. They do a fantastic job and are a blessing to everyone that meets them.
Lucas and Hannah have been attending House of Salvation for a little over a year. A special calling came upon them and through many days of prayer and a promise of Commitment, they were ordained as our Sunday School Directors. Hannah has many years of experience working in both daycare and as our very own Young Children's teacher. We are excited to see how they help nurture and lead our children to foster a strong relationship with Jesus Christ.
